2) English old school hardcore producer. E-Type (real name: Bo Martin Erik Eriksson) is a Swedish eurodance singer born on August 27, 1965. He became known to the audience in 1991 when the hit single "We've Got the Atmosphere" was released. This single went directly to the top of the Swedish charts. After that, E-Type became well known in the Swedish entertainment world as a television host, film soundtrack composer and a song writer for several Swedish artists.
Haddaway (born Alexander Nestor Haddaway on January 9, 1965 in Trinidad) is a Eurodance/House musician. Born into a local family, his mother was a local nurse, and his father, a Dutch oceanographer. He completed a doctorate in political science and history from George Washington University in Washington DC, before moving to Cologne, Germany, in 1989. He presently lives in Kitzbühel, Austria. Haddaway's biggest hit, " What Is Love ," became very popular across Europe (reaching #2 in the UK), North America and Australia after its 1993 release.
Jonny Jakobsen (born 17 November 1963. Malmö, Sweden) is a Swedish-Danish bubblegum dance / eurodance artist better known under his fictitious identity as Indian taxi driver Dr. Bombay. He began as a country singer called Johnny Moonshine , but became famous only after his metamorphosis into Dr. Bombay character in 1998. In his lyrics, the character is portrayed as an Indian taxi driver, mystic, sitar player, chef, snake charmer and avid fan of elephant racing.
Markoolio, born Marko Lehtosalo, is ethnic Finn who lives in Sweden who raps in Swedish. His breakthrough was the album "Markoolio sticker hårt" which produced several successful hit singles, such as "Vi drar till fjällen" and the infamous "Bira-låten", his tribute to the fantastic beverage that is beer. The lyrics on this album are humorous, dealing with as above mentioned beer, girls, clubbing, partying and his longing for Finland.
La Cream was short-lived Swedish eurodance band. They released only one album, Sound & Vision (1998), but had several hit singles. The duo consisted of songstress/dancer Tess and DJ/producer Andréz. Their lyrics were mixture of French, Spanish and English.
Band split up as Tess Mattisson pursued her individual career.
