Sky High

Swedish blues/rock band similar to Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

After numerous line-up changes over the years, and the only constant member, guitarist/singer Clas Yngström in front, the band Sky High continues to perform powerful bluesrock.

Formed in Gothenburg, Sweden in 1978, Clas Yngström & Sky High released albums all through the 80's, and the most commersial sucessfull album to date, Humanizer in 1987. Although their breakthrough album, called Freezin' Hot (released in the summer of 1985) made Sky High a household name in Sweden and Scandinavia. Billy Opel

Billy Opel, who's real name is Erik Morell, is from the villige of Långlet, outside of Mora. As a 21-year old (2004) he released his debut album, "Kalasä i Långlet". He sings in folk dialect and 10 of the 15 songs he has composed himself.

Billy Opel is also known as "Tyll" and "Mora-Nisse", though Mora-Nisse is also the name of a famous cross-country skier from the town called Mora. "Skatar-Idioti" and "Volvo 142" are a few of the songs he released known as Tyll or Mora-Nisse. Read more on Last.fm . Svenne Rubins

Det började med Adam och Eva... Nej förresten, jo det gjorde det ju givetvis, men senare byggde Noa arken, och Rubins gick ombord... eller... Nej, kanske inte riktigt...

Men om vi flyttar oss fram till nådens år 1975, så upptäckte några festsugna killar att det var lättare att bli bjuden på fest om man kunde spela. Sagt och gjort, Sven Rubin och Rúbin Svensson plockade fram gitarrerna, och de första spåren av vad som många år senare skulle bli spår i vinyl, sattes i form av något som kallades "Frukostklubben".
