Entombed is a death metal band from Stockholm, Sweden which formed in 1987 under the name of Nihilist. In 1989 they changed their name to Entombed. Though Entombed began their career as an early pioneer of Scandinavian death metal, by the early 1990s their sound had broadened to include hard rock and other influences. This new style would eventually be described as Death 'n' Roll, of which Entombed remains arguably the best-known example.

When Norrsken disbanded in 2000, guitarist Magnus Pelander went on to form doomy folk metal act Witchcraft and Nilsson and Edlund joined Albatros, a growly blues rock band whose lineup also included Sjöberg on drums. pg.lost is a four-piece post-rock band from Norrköping, Sweden formed in year 2004. The band was initially called Before You Give In but after numerous changes in the lineup the band took on the current name.

They released a 2005 self-titled demo EP followed by an EP entitled Yes I Am in 2007, their first full-length release called It's Not Me, It's You! in 2008, and In Never Out arrived in year 2009, new album Key in 2012. The Soundtrack of Our Lives were an alternative rock band which formed in 1995 in Göteborg, Sweden. The band consisted of Ebbot Lundberg (vocals), Mattias Bärjed (guitar, vocals), Ian Person (guitar, percussion, vocals), Åke Karl Kalle Gustafsson (Bass, violin, vocals), Martin Hederos (keyboards) and Fredrik Sandsten (drums). Most of the band's members were formerly members of the influential Swedish punk band Union Carbide Productions.

The band had three very successful records in Sweden before their critically acclaimed breakthrough US release in 2001, Behind the Music, which was nominated for the Best Alternative Album award at the 2003 Grammy Awards.

Bob Hund

bob hund is a seven-piece rock band from Sweden. Swedish for "bob dog", their name was borrowed from a television cartoon character. Their music, hard to classify, is by some described as "a frantic celebration of the power of music to invigorate and give life."

The indie rock band started in autumn 1991 and the group as it is known today was formed within about half a year. The group consists of singer Thomas Öberg, guitarists Johnny Essing and Conny Nimmersjö, bassist Mats Hellquist, Jonas Jonasson on synths, and Mats Andersson on drums.
