The Soundtrack of Our Lives

The Soundtrack of Our Lives were an alternative rock band which formed in 1995 in Göteborg, Sweden. The band consisted of Ebbot Lundberg (vocals), Mattias Bärjed (guitar, vocals), Ian Person (guitar, percussion, vocals), Åke Karl Kalle Gustafsson (Bass, violin, vocals), Martin Hederos (keyboards) and Fredrik Sandsten (drums). Most of the band's members were formerly members of the influential Swedish punk band Union Carbide Productions.

The band had three very successful records in Sweden before their critically acclaimed breakthrough US release in 2001, Behind the Music, which was nominated for the Best Alternative Album award at the 2003 Grammy Awards.

Jonathan Johansson

Just a few years ago, the term Swedish pop was more or less synonymous with the 1960s: chipper hooks, throwback arrangements, turtlenecks, and soft-focus album covers. But in a very short time, the country's indie output-- at least as perceived from these shores-- seems to have advanced two decades, with acts like the Legends and Pacific! finding inspiration in the sounds of the early 1980s. In this regard, Jonathan Johansson is a new romantic, but not necessarily a New Romantic. Staffan Hellstrand

Staffan Hellstrand is an Swedish musician and singer/songwriter. He was born May 13, 1956 in Spånga, Stockholm.

Hellstrand was one of the members in progressive rock band Dimmornas Bro from 1978 to 1982. From 1983 to circa 1989 he was the singer, guitarist and songwriter in SH!.

He made his solo debut with the album Hemlös in 1989. Here, Hellstrand sang poems written by loved Swedish poet Dan Andersson. Among Hellstrand's solo albums Eld (1992), Pascha Jims dagbok (1996) and Elektriska gatan (2004) has recieved the best reviews.

Syster Sol

Syster Sol (Isabel Sandblom) is a reggae singer from Stockholm, Sweden. She was one of the co-founders of the band Livelihood, and played with them for many years. With them she released the album Escapizm (2006) followed by Sagans sånger (2007).

Little Marbles

Little Marbles is an indie pop-band formed in Norrköping, Sweden. They have now moved to Stockholm. The bands front members are Julia Adams (born 12 October 1990) and Linn Tabudlong (born 17 November 1990). The band was formed in the summer of 2006 at Julia's grandmothers 60-year-old-party. When they sang together they noticed that their voices fit together and continued writing songs. During the beginning of 2012 Little Marbles toured both China and Cuba and finished up their third album, Vi kan göra det hur du vill (We can do it anyway you want to). Just like on the previous album Miss Li and Sonny Boy Gustafsson were producers and helped with the compositions.
