Dying Fetus are a death metal band from Annapolis, Maryland (USA). The group formed in 1991 and have, ever since, had frontman John Gallagher as the driving force for every release the group has done and performed on. Dying Fetus is known for their consistently hook-laden song structures, characterized by blast beats, complex riffing and heavy breakdowns. Additionally, their reality-based lyrics characterized by political / social themes are notable in grindcore. The band are one of the forerunner bands to popularize the slam movement in grindcore.
Job for a Cowboy is an American death metal / deathcore band from Glendale, Arizona. Formed in 2003, the band's debut album Genesis was released in 2007, peaking at No. 54 on the US Billboard 200 and selling 13,000 copies in its first week of release. The second album, 2009's Ruination , sold 10,600 copies in the United States in its first week to debut at position No. 42 on the Billboard 200 chart. The band comprises vocalist Jonny Davy, guitarists Tony Sannicandro and Al Glassman, bassist Nick Schendzielos, and drummer Jon "The Charn" Rice, with Davy being the only remaining founding member.
Revocation is a Death/Thrash Metal band from Boston, MA, formed in 2006 from Cryptic Warning. They combine the power and aggression of the old-school thrash metal style with the twisted musicianship of technical death metal. After 2 demos, they released their first full-length album, "Sanity's Abberation". A unique display of technical prowess and ferocious energy which came out in 2005. They released an EP the following year entitled "Summon the Spawn" which was followed by their next full-length, "Empire of the Obscene" in 2008 by Relapse Records.
Cerebral Bore are a death metal band based in Glasgow, Scotland. Although the name was used with different members in 2004, the Cerebral Bore that exists now wasn't born until 2006. From then, the main focus of the band has been to write brutal music and bring it to metal fans all over the planet.
The Band recorded the E.P. "The Dead Flesh Architect" in November 2006, and played their first show the same month.
