Forlorn Fest

Marduk is a Swedish black metal band. Marduk's predominant lyrical topics are Satanism, anti-Christianity, death, war and the Third Reich. The latter is an addition to their lyrical-conceptual themes stemming from their 1999 release Panzer Division Marduk; it quickly grew among their fans' favorites and so far Marduk have released more and more songs relating to that dark but fascinating chapter of human history such as "The Hangman of Prague" (monicker of Prague "Reichsprotektor", and, by the Way, Leader of the "Sicherheitsdienst", Reinhard Heydrich), "Deathmarch" and others.

Marduk was founded in Norrköping, Sweden in 1990 by Morgan Steinmeyer Håkansson. His ultimate goal was to create the most blasphemous and Satanic band ...

Mgła (PL)

Mgła is a black metal project formed in 2000, using rather rough and organic form of expression within the genre. Reason is personal aesthetic preference and conviction that this type of sound can fulfill the vision the most. Conceptual content ranges from nihilism to mysticism and provides comments rather than statements.

Mgła has not performed live for approx. first 10 years of existence and operated as studio project only. This changed in 2012 and we since then we’ve been performing roughly once per month. Some call it black metal, some call them Nachtmahrwaltzer, but we call it life. A life that that reaches its worth only when the offerlams blood fills the chalice..."

Swedish metal band Ofermod has its roots in black metal, but its members currently refer to their own music as "Orthodox Qliphotic Death Metal" in an attempt to de-emphasize the satanistic associations of the former term in favour of more complex occult themes present in their later work.

The group was originally a solo project in 1996 by guitarist Michayah, who at that time called himself Belfagor and was also active in the band Nefandus. In 1997, vocalist Nebiros joined the band. The duo entered Necromorbus Studios in January 1998 and recorded a 7" EP entitled "Mystérion Tés Anomias" which was released later that same year in 500 copies through PMP (Pounding Metal Productions). Bass player Mist left the band in 1999.
