Dragonforce (UK)

DragonForce is a Power Metal band that was formed in 1999, from the remnants of black metal band Demoniac under the name of DragonHeart. However, the band soon changed its name to DragonForce before releasing any commercial albums due to possible commercial issues with Brazilian band Dragonheart. Their career began with publishing of songs on the first incarnation of, claiming the top of the site's heavy metal charts. The hit song Valley of the Damned reached over 500,000 downloads in the first few months.

Despite this, two of the original members, Steve Williams and Steve Scott left the band to form power metal outfit Power Quest.

Huntress (US)

Huntress is an American heavy metal band. It was founded in the underground of Highland Park, California when lead vocalist Jill Janus moved to Los Angeles where she met an underground metal band called 'Professor' in 2009. Huntress was signed by Napalm Records in November 2011. A debut EP Off with Her Head was released in 2010. On December 27, 2011, they released their first single, "Eight of Swords", to promote their debut album, Spell Eater.
The band's style has been observed as classic heavy metal with influences of thrash and doom metal. The songs feature frequent screaming by lead singer Janus who is professionally trained in Opera and has a vocal range of four octaves.

Originally named Blues Kids, the band changed its name to Kissin Dynamite in 2007

December 2007: Some music journalists discover a 4-track CD in their Christmas mail by a combo hitherto unknown to them, called Kissin’ Dynamite. No booklet. Zero background information. But what they hear needs no further explanation: Gripping hard and riff rock professionally produced and influenced by Mötley Crüe, Whitesnake and AC/DC – reminiscent of NWoBHM sounds by the iron pioneers themselves, and an anthemic pathos HammerFall and Manowar could not pull off any better-, lets expectations towards the entire record by these nobodies rise sky high.
