Slash (US)

Saul Hudson (born 23 July 1965, Stoke, England), better known by his stage name Slash, is a British-American musician. He is the former lead guitarist of the American hard rock band Guns N' Roses, with whom he performed and recorded between 1985 and 1996. He later formed Slash's Snakepit and co-founded Velvet Revolver with his former bandmates Duff McKagan and Matt Sorum; and his debut solo album, Slash , was released in April 2010. In 2011 he wrote and featured on kick it Up a Notch, the end credit song for The Disney Channel Original Movie Phineas and Ferb: Across the 2nd Dimension. (Kick It Up a Notch Songfacts). He has written a self titled autobiography which was put to print in 2007.

Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators (US)


Sabaton is a symphonic power metal band from Falun, Sweden formed in 1999. The band's main lyrical themes are based on war and historical battles. Lyrical content drawn from World War I, World War II and other conflicts is prevalent and includes songs about battles and leaders on all sides of said conflicts. In April 2012, four members left the band and formed another, whilst vocalist Joakim Brodén and bassist Pär Sundström continued with new members.

Crashdïet originally formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 2000. Rifts and troubles in the band caused a breakup not long after.

In 2002, half of the band took on new members and the band was reformed.

They slowly built up a fan base with their shows. In 2004 they released their first single. This was followed by more singles, and being featured in TV commercials for mobile phone service provider "Tre".

In August of 2005 released their debut full-length album "Rest In Sleaze". The album made the top 10 in Sweden.

The band's success would be short-lived however. On January 20th of 2006, lead singer Dave Lepard was found dead, committed suicide, in his apartment in Uppsala, Sweden. After this, the rema...
