Repulsion may refer to two different bands:
1. Repulsion are a legendary band hailed as being one of the biggest influences on the grindcore genre, despite only releasing one official full length album entitled "Horrified" in 1989 (recorded in 1986).
The band formed in 1984 under the name Genocide, releasing three demos with this name. Later, they changed the name to the more "fitting name" for their style of music and lyrical content, which is Repulsion. With the name Repulsion, they released one full length album, two demos and a single. They broke up around 1991 and after over a decade, the band decided to reform again circa 2004.

General Surgery is a death metal/goregrind band that formed in 1988 in Stockholm, Sweden. The band is a side project of members of various Swedish Death Metal acts. The original line-up comprised of Richard Cabeza on vocals, Carbonised guitarist Jonas De Rouche, Grant McWilliams on bass and then Carbonised vocalist Matti Kärkki on drums. The project's first demo was titled 'Erosive Offals'.
McWilliams departed prior to the second demo 'Pestiferous Anthropophagia' in 1990. General Sugery's line-up then virtually disintegrated, leaving only Kärki remaining. Cabeza soon returned to the fore with Dismember. New recruits were Afflicted guitarist Joacim Carlsson and drummer Matts Nordrup. Grant McWilliams also rejoined. General Suge...

1) Swedish Thrash Metal band formed in 2005. Releases:

2) The first German Antichrist was founded 1983 by Frank and G.Fitting, they played Black Metal. Two demo tapes resulted from then: ''Slaughter in Hell (1983)'' and ''Horror Awakes (1986). In 2003 the "666 Demo 2003" demo was released and the band played some live shows, the band is currently in the making of new material in the Melodic Black/Death genre.
