Kvelertak (NO)

Kvelertak (meaning stranglehold or chokehold) is a six-piece black n roll band from Stavanger, formed in Norway, 2007. All lyrics are written in Norwegian, the band's native language, and concerning Norse mythology/Viking folklore. As of today, the six members are: Erlend Hjelvik (vocals), Vidar Landa (guitar), Bjarte Lund Rolland (guitar), Maciek Ofstad (guitar), Marvin Nygaard (bass), and Kjetil Gjermundrød (drums). Known for their consistent, idiosyncratic sound, the band states that their main influences are rock and roll, black metal and punk.

Truckfighters is a stoner rock band from Örebro, Sweden, formed in 2001.

After releasing several demos in 2001 and 2002, they recorded a split-EP with local Swedish band Firestone in 2003. In 2005 they released their debut album Gravity X on both MeteorCity Records and Fuzzorama Records. Their follow-up album, Phi, was released in 2007 by Poison Tree Records in the U.S. and on the Fuzzorama label elsewhere.

Their sound has been described as classic desert rock, similar to bands like Dozer, Fu Manchu (with whom they have toured), and Kyuss. They have been featured on the MTV Sweden show "Fuzz"

Purified in Blood (NO)

Purified in Blood is a Norwegian hardcore metal band that formed in Hommersåk, Rogaland, Norway in 2003. The band had two diverse vocalists in Hallgeir Skretting Enoksen and Glenn Cato Rasmussen. Stig Skog Andersen handled bass guitar, Tommy Svela and Sander Loen handled guitar duties, while Anders Mosness played the drums. They released their first EP Last Leaves of a Poisoned Tree in 2004. Their first full-length Reaper of Souls followed in 2006. Due to differences in regards to their initial common straight edge philosophy the band decided to pull the plug in 2007.
