Sundström is one of the most famous Swedish singer/songwriters of the last decade. His first album came in 1989, and since then he's released 15 titles. Mikael Wiehe (born 10 April 1946) is a Swedish singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist. Throughout his career, his lyrical content has chiefly dealt with social and political issues from a leftist viewpoint. In the 1970s, Wiehe was one of the lead singers and the leading songwriter of Hoola Bandoola Band.
After the split of the group in 1975, he was the leader of various other bands before becoming a solo artist in the beginning of the 1980s. He was a close friend of the late Björn Afzelius, the other lead singer of Hoola Bandoola Band. They sometimes toured around Scandinavia and recorded together in the 1980s and 90s. Syster Sol (Isabel Sandblom) is a reggae singer from Stockholm, Sweden. She was one of the co-founders of the band Livelihood, and played with them for many years. With them she released the album Escapizm (2006) followed by Sagans sånger (2007).

Here, in the deep woods of western Sweden, close to the norwegian border, the storytelling tradition is very much alive. The blue notes come naturally.
