Yes, another Swedish 70’s influenced hard rock band! I guess Sweden ranks no. 1 in the world when it comes to this genre. Horisont picks up where Witchcraft and Graveyard laid down the cornerstones and they are out on Crusher Records who also nurses Dead Man. So if you’re a sucker for music inspired by Pentagram, Blue Cheer and what not ….. and you dig denim and long haired guys this is a kick ass record. Horisont is all about blues rock and boogie with heavy riffing and long guitar solos. Troubled Horse

Troubled Horse is a hard/psych rock band from Örebro, Sweden. The minds behind the band are singer and front man Martin Heppich, along with Witchcraft’s John Hoyles (guitar, backing vocals), Ola Henriksson (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Jens Henriksson (drums). The band combines the raw sounds of 60′s garage rock with the heavy riffs of 70′s psych-doom, resembling bands such as Dust and Lincoln Street Exit.

They released a single in 2010, and although the band formed in 2003, they waited nearly 10 years to release their debut album Step Inside, in 2012.

Bombs of Hades

BOMBS OF HADES was formed in 2002 in Västerås, Sweden just to to have some fun while drinking in the rehearsal studio. At first it had 5 members and the music was some sort of Crust Punk. But after a while only 3 members were left and the music had transformed into some kind of old school death metal ala 1985-1990. After being sort of a side band for years, and the line-up changing from time to time, the band has now transformed into a fulltime band (with Ekman, Söderback and Forsberg still playing in THE RULING CLASS though and Stålhammar has other projects going). As former members of ABHOTH (Ekman & Stålhammar), MACABRE END/GOD MACABRE/UTUMNO (Stålhammar) and TRIBULATION/DISSOBER (Forsberg) they are certanly no newcomers when it come...

Uppsala, Sweden, 2009: Tobias, David, and Gustaf form a brand new band called Séance. Within those three months, the band signed an LP deal with High-Roller Records, and a CD deal with Stormspell Records.

Noctum’s debut album, The Séance, was released in September 2010 via High-Roller and in December by Stormspell. The band finally embarked on their first European tour in July of 2011, and followed that up with a new EP, The Fiddler.

By August of 2011, Noctum created enough buzz in the underground to gain the attention of ...
