Taake (NO)

Taake (Norwegian pronunciation: [ˈtoːkə]) is the solo vehicle of Ulvhedin Høst (Ørjan Stedjeberg), also known as Høst or Hoest. The band was formed in Bergen, Hordaland, Norway. During 1993, originally billed as Thule, Hoest proceeded to issue a brace of demos in 1993's 'Der Vinterstormene Rast' and 1994's 'Omfarnet Av Svarte Vinger' prior to adopting the new title of Taake. Billed as Taake, Hoest, together with Svartulv and Dim, the group cut the 1995 cassette 'Manndaudsvinter'. A three track 7" EP, issued by Hoest's own Mosegrodd Productions, arrived the same year with Hoest handling vocals, bass and guitar and Svartulv retained as drummer.

Gorgoroth (NO)

Gorgoroth, meaning “land of great despair”, is a black metal band from Bergen, named after the dark plains of Mordor in J.R.R.Tolkien’s Lord of the Rings. Led by guitarist Infernus (a.k.a. Roger Tiegs), it emerged in 1992 as a trio including vocalist Hat (‘Hate’ in Norwegian) and drummer Goat Pervertor.

The band, based in Hyllestad, debuted on April 28th 1993 with a demo, entitled 'A Sorcery Written In Blood', featuring two tracks ‘Sexual Bloodgargling' and ‘(Under) The Pagan Megalith' preceded by the intro 'Gathered At Blåkulla', actually a minute plus of incoherent screaming. Woods of Desolation (AU)

Woods of Desolation is an anonymous Australian black metal project based out of Sydney, New South Wales. The project revolves around the songwriting and instrumentation of a musician known only as "D." A revolving line-up of vocalists, bassists and drummers have also assisted in the project; which has never performed live.
