Tove Lo (pronounced Too-veh Loo) is the stage name of Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson (born 29 October 1987 in Stockholm, Sweden), a pop singer and songwriter. She has also written songs for a number of artists, including Icona Pop, Girls Aloud, Ellie Goulding, and Cher Lloyd. Her stage name is a combination of her real name and the Swedish word for "lynx", a childhood nickname.
Tove grew up in the Stockholm suburb of Djursholm. She studied at the music school Rytmus Musikergymnasiet. She also was member of a rock band called Tremblebee, which she set up with her then guitarist boyfriend.
Lo released her debut single "Love Ballad" in the autumn of 2012. The second single, "Habits", was issued in March 2013 on her Soundcloud ...
The new wave of fresh-outta-highschool EDM talent is led by just a handful of pioneers. Martin Garrix can certainly be counted as one of them. Currently being 21 years old, he is recognized as one of the most talented guys out there. He just landed his first record deal and has already been spotted in de studio with Sidney Samson and that other Dutch mega talent Julian Jordan.
His first official release 'Keygen' received great DJ support and ranked high in the Beatport charts and his remix of Roy Gates' 'Midnight Sun' flew up Beatport's Progressive House chart.
In the DJ department Martin is quite the busy one too. He's had gigs at Mysteryland and was the youngest DJ ever to play the world’s largest nightclub Privilege in Ibiza...

Swedish fusion between Jazz and Hip Hop
“Django guitar, windy street swing; music for both art directors and your mom” is how MOVITS! describe their sound. Well-known in Sweden but unheard of elsewhere, they fold together elements of 1930s big band swing, roma swing and rhythm & blues, then drop hiphop vocals on top for some serious energetic firepower. -Aurgasm Read more on Last.fm . A common interest in great music brought these two electric souls together. Rebecca Scheja and Fiona Fitzpatick not only rule the Stockholm club scene– they scream, with nominations and awards in 2009 for DJs of the year and Best Club Hosts, a devout army of followers, and one of Sweden’s most popular blogs. And now they are spreading their effervescent wings to the great dance venues of Scandinavia.
Both girls were born to be musical artists. Rebecca’s father, Staffan, is one of Sweden’s foremost classical pianists and Fiona’s dad, Greg, the king of of Swedish 80′s synthpop. And both are over achievers in whatever they engage in. Fiona was a gold-medalist in rock climbing 2005 and Vice-Chairman of the Swedish National Student...
