Robyn is the stage name of the Swedish pop singer-songwriter Robin Miriam Carlsson (born 12 June 1979 in Stockholm, Sweden). She is best known for her critically acclaimed electropop music, her impressive live shows and the hits "With Every Heartbeat" (#1 UK) and "Dancing On My Own" (#8 UK, #1 Sweden). In 2011, the single "Dancing On My Own" was nominated at Grammy Awards for the category Best Dance Recording. She is the owner of Konichiwa Records, which release only her music, including Robyn and Body Talk.

Robyn's parents are actors, and she herself was involved in acting at the age of 9, with an extra role in Kronbruden at the Swedish theatre Dramaten. In 1991, at the age of 12, Robyn recorded the theme song named "Du kan ...

First Aid Kit

There are three bands called First Aid Kit:

1. Swedish indie/folk duo consisting of sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg from Stockholm. The siblings began composing songs in 2007, taking their name at random from an English dictionary.
The debut EP "Drunken Trees" was released on the 9th of April 2008 in Sweden on the label Rabid Records, owned by the Swedish electronic duo The Knife. The EP was re-released through Wichita Recordings early 2009.
The debut album The Big Black & The Blue was released on January 25th, 2010.
Their 2nd album The Lion's Roar, produced by Mike Mogis from Bright Eyes, was released on January 24th, 2012.

Charli XCX (US)

Charli XCX, born Charlotte Emma Aitchison on 2 August 1992, is an English singer and songwriter. She released her debut single independently in 2008 and initially performed at warehouse raves in London, UK. She signed to Asylum Records in 2010, and released two mixtapes, Heartbreaks and Earthquakes and Super Ultra, in 2012.

Yelle (FR)

Yelle is a trio formed in Saint-Brieuc, France in 2005, of lead singer Julie Budet (aka Yelle) and Jean-François Perrier (aka GrandMarnier), with Tanguy Destable (aka Tepr) joining prior to their début album.

Budet rose to fame on MySpace when she posted a song titled "Short Dick Cuizi", dissing Cuizinier, a member of the Parisian hip-hop group TTC.

With producer and close friend GrandMarnier, Budet has recorded a début album Pop-Up, after her hit single "Je veux te voir" (a finalised version of "Short Dick Cuizi"). Ane Brun (NO)

Ane Brun (IPA ænə brun), real name Ane Brunvoll (born 10 March 1976), is a Norwegian singer/songwriter, born and raised in Molde, Norway. She lives in Stockholm, Sweden.

After a few years of numerous live stints in Sweden and Norway and several non-official EP releases Ane Brun gained her own fan-base and her first official album - Spending Time with Morgan was released at the end of May, 2003 in Scandinavia, and in various European countries in the fall of 2003. The album was released via Ane's own label "DetErMine Records" ("ThoseAreMine Records") that Ane co-owns with Swedish musician Ellekari Larsson and her band The Tiny, and licensed to V2 Music.
