Robyn

Robyn is the stage name of the Swedish pop singer-songwriter Robin Miriam Carlsson (born 12 June 1979 in Stockholm, Sweden). She is best known for her critically acclaimed electropop music, her impressive live shows and the hits "With Every Heartbeat" (#1 UK) and "Dancing On My Own" (#8 UK, #1 Sweden). In 2011, the single "Dancing On My Own" was nominated at Grammy Awards for the category Best Dance Recording. She is the owner of Konichiwa Records, which release only her music, including Robyn and Body Talk.

Charli XCX, born Charlotte Emma Aitchison on 2 August 1992, is an English singer and songwriter. She released her debut single independently in 2008 and initially performed at warehouse raves in London, UK. She signed to Asylum Records in 2010, and released two mixtapes, Heartbreaks and Earthquakes and Super Ultra, in 2012.

Charli XCX's major label debut album, True Romance, was released in 2013, accompanied by singles including "You (Ha Ha Ha)" and "Nuclear Seasons". First Aid Kit

There are three bands called First Aid Kit:

1. Swedish indie/folk duo consisting of sisters Klara and Johanna Söderberg from Stockholm. The siblings began composing songs in 2007, taking their name at random from an English dictionary.
The debut EP "Drunken Trees" was released on the 9th of April 2008 in Sweden on the label Rabid Records, owned by the Swedish electronic duo The Knife. The EP was re-released through Wichita Recordings early 2009.
The debut album The Big Black & The Blue was released on January 25th, 2010.
Their 2nd album The Lion's Roar, produced by Mike Mogis from Bright Eyes, was released on January 24th, 2012.

Yelle (FR)

Yelle is a trio formed in Saint-Brieuc, France in 2005, of lead singer Julie Budet (aka Yelle) and Jean-François Perrier (aka GrandMarnier), with Tanguy Destable (aka Tepr) joining prior to their début album.

Budet rose to fame on MySpace when she posted a song titled "Short Dick Cuizi", dissing Cuizinier, a member of the Parisian hip-hop group TTC.

With producer and close friend GrandMarnier, Budet has recorded a début album Pop-Up, after her hit single "Je veux te voir" (a finalised version of "Short Dick Cuizi"). Alphaville (DE)

There are at least two artists that go by the name of Alphaville:

1) Alphaville is a German synthpop/new wave group which gained popularity in the 80s. The founding members were Marian Gold (real name Hartwig Schierbaum, born May 26, 1954 in Herford), Bernhard Lloyd (real name Bernhard Gößling, born June 6th, 1960 in Enger, Bielefeld) and Frank Mertens (real name Frank Sorgatz, born October 26, 1961 in Enger, Bielefeld). The band was at first named Forever Young. The band is best known for its two biggest hits, "Big in Japan" and "Forever Young", which was the theme for many high school proms in the 1980s.
