The Quireboys (UK)

The Quireboys, known in the U.S. as the London Quireboys (even though they come from Newcastle), are a hard rock band that started in the late '80s/early '90s, getting that moniker from the 1977 comedy film of the same name. With John Grey ("Spike") on vocals, Guy Griffin and Guy Bailey on guitar, Chris Johnstone on piano/keyboard, Nigel Mogg on bass guitar, and Ian Wallace on drums, the guys are best known for their 1990 hit album 'A Bit of What You Fancy'.

Close Quarters

Close Quarters is a Swedish rock 'n' roll band that was formed in 2006 by Martin 'KK' Karlsson (lead guitar), Viktor Granlund (vocals and guitar) and David Svensson (drums and percussion). Rasmus Ejneberg joined the band on bass in late 2006, a couple of weeks before their first demo was recorded. In 2009 Rasmus left the band and was replaced by Martin Hederberg (bass and backing vocals). The band has recorded a couple of demos throughout the years; The Street Brawl EP (2007), Pleasure Under Pressure (2008), Untitled (2009) and Close Quarters (2010). Buford Pope, (a.k.a. Mikael Liljeborg) was born in 1971 on Gotland, a Swedish limestone island in the Baltic Sea.
