Formed in Buffalo, NY in 1988, Cannibal Corpse helped found, manipulate and transcend the very boundaries of death metal beginning with the scandalously controversial debut, Eaten Back To Life. Raising the eyebrows of inquisitive metal fans and incensed parents and politicians, the record - produced by Scott Burns at the now renowned Morrisound Studios - was more extreme and confrontational than anything the Death Metal genre had ever known. As a result of the band's gruesome cover art, grisly lyrics and song titles like "Hammer Smashed Face," "Meat Hook Sodomy" and "Addicted To Vaginal Skin," follow-up records Butchered At Birth (1991) and Tomb Of The Mutilated (1992) were met with further contempt by the likes of such organized censors...

1) Aeon is a death metal band that formed in Östersund, Sweden in 1999 by vocalist Tommy Dahlström, guitarist Sebastian Nilsson, bassist Johan Hjelm and drummer Arttu Malkki of the newly broken up band Defaced Creation, in order to proceed with a more modern style of death metal.

The band has so far released one EP in 2001 entitled "Dark Order", and three full length studio albums: "Bleeding the False" in 2005, "Rise to Dominate" in 2007 and "Path of Fire" in 2010. Their lyrical themes are based on strong anti-Christian beliefs, particularly anti-Jehovah’s Witnesses. They are currently signed to Metal Blade Records.

Revocation (US)

Revocation is a Death/Thrash Metal band from Boston, MA, formed in 2006 from Cryptic Warning. They combine the power and aggression of the old-school thrash metal style with the twisted musicianship of technical death metal. After 2 demos, they released their first full-length album, "Sanity's Abberation". A unique display of technical prowess and ferocious energy which came out in 2005.
