The Royal Concept

Formerly known as the Concept Store and the Concept, Stockholm's The Royal Concept is the newest moniker adopted by the band. The members include vocalist/guitarist David Larson, guitarist Filip Bekic, bassist Magnus Robert, and drummer Frans Povel. The group came out in 2010 with the single "Damn!" which introduced their own sound of electric pop and melodic harmony. One year later, the tracks "D-D-Dance" and "Gimme Twice" earned them accolades from fans all over the world. In 2012, the band signed to Lava Records. With her own, very personal vocal style, Nadia Nair is fearlessly weaving together many diverse influences blending rock, soul, western pop, classical music and a wide range of ethnic and folk sources..
Nadia was brought up on the Swedish west coast, Gothenburg, and has, since the age of 4, been looking for her place in music.
It became evident to Nadia’s surroundings that she was meant for the limelight and Nadia moved from violin playing to becoming more focused on singing and gradually turned her poetries into music.

At the age of 15 Nadia decided that now was the time to devote her life to the stage.

Style of Eye

In the early 1990s, working from a studio in the northern-most parts of Sweden, Linus Eklow laid the foundations for what is now known as Style Of Eye. ‘Right Now!’ was his first release on Derrick Carter’s Classic Music Company- and it received a major response from both the dance press and tastemakers alike. It didn’t take long before the house and techno community at large picked up on what Linus was doing.

With subsequent Style Of Eye releases such as ‘Gioco’ and ‘H-bomb’ and ‘We Got You’, Linus broke through onto dancefloors all over the world. His releases being played by such well-known names as Tiefschwarz, John Dahlback, Claude VonStroke, Tiga, and Laurent Garnier amongst many others…
