Paul Kalkbrenner (DE)

Paul Kalkbrenner (1977) is a producer, DJ and actor from Berlin, Germany. He is signed to the famous Bpitch control label founded by Ellen Allien.

Starting as a trumpet player and studying music theory, Kalkbrenner later switched to electronic music. In 1999 he released his first tracks under the name of Paul dB+. As a live act, he performs using Ableton Live in combination with midi controllers and hardware synthesizers.

In 2008 he composed the sountrack for the German movie Berlin Calling in which he also is the leading actor. The theme song Sky and Sand, featuring his brother Fritz Kalkbrenner ended up in various European charts.

Jamie xx (UK)

Jamie Smith (born 28 October 1988), better known by his stage name Jamie xx, is an English music producer, remix artist and DJ who is known both as a solo act and as a member of the London-based band The xx. He has been recognised with a 2016 Grammy Award nomination in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category for his album In Colour. In 2007, Smith joined The xx accompanying old school friends Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim, Baria Qureshi from the Elliott School, notable for alumni including Hot Chip, Burial and Four Tet. The band's first album 'xx' was released in August 2009 and went on to become platinum in the UK.

Tokimonsta (US)

Born and raised in the South Bay area of Los Angeles, TOKiMONSTA (Jennifer Lee) was an unfocused pupil of classical piano. However, she has come to use this background to understand and create vast soundscapes and textures through the usage of live instruments, percussion, digital manipulation, and dusty vinyl. Through the creation of beats, she is able to fuse the sounds of the past with her musical prowess into something avant garde. Lee is a Korean-American, "Toki" means "a rabbit" in Korean. Her debut album, Midnight Menu, was released in 2010.

Ellinor Olovsdotter, known by her stage name Elliphant, is a Swedish pop artist. Her unique sound has been likened to a cross between M.I.A. and Diplo. The artist name Elliphant, was said to be a play on words between her name and the saying "Elephant in the room." She has featured in the media for her unique sound, including The Guardian and NME.
