Solitary Experiments (DE)

Solitary Experiments formed in 1994 as a collaboration between Dennis Schober and Michael Thieleman, who had briefly collaborated before as 'Plague'. The following years saw occasional live shows and the release of a couple of demo tapes before the song 'God, Where Are You?' from the 'New Violent Breed' compilation in 1999, which would become a hit in their native Germany as well as Holland and the USA. Their debut album 'Final Approach' was released on Machinery later that year.

A couple of high-profile festival performances in 2000 (including a slot at that years chaotic Wave-Gotik-Treffen) preceeded their second album 'Paradox' in 2001, with their first performances in the USA later that year. The 2002 remix collection 'Fin...

There are at least two artists with the name "Spetsnaz":

1) A hardcore/noise punk band from Portland, Oregon.

2) Swedish electro-berzerkers Spetsnaz (russian acronym for Special Forces) were formed by Pontus Stålberg and Stefan Nilsson in Örebro, Sweden in the autumn of 2001. In the beginning of the 90s Tyske Ludder set the course for their work as pioneers in the european EBM and Dark-Electro scene. Coming up from the New-Wave and New-Romantic scene they developed very early their meditations on the predominance of technology in our society. Nightmare-like visions of the then-raging war in Yugoslavia as well as the recurring military enforcement of the United States' claim for world dom...

Cygnosic (GR)

If asked a question regarding the ideal feedback people would offer when exposed to the CYGNOSIC sound the response would be analogous. Electronic sounds fuelled from a vast range of influences and filtered through an extremely individual touch. A passionate and energetic musical attack functioning in multiple levels ushered by harsh and distorted verbal proclamations with a very conscious view of the world and the human psyche.

This Athens-based, one man band of Georg Psaroudakis was originally formed late in 2006, in an attempt to execute this notion. In 2007 the self-released EP “In the lag of time” was revealed to the public and served as an initial introduction to the scene. In 2008 CYGNOSIC signed to BLC Productions, an ...
