Twice a Man

Twice a Man are an electronic music group based in Gothenburg, Sweden, comprising members Dan Söderqvist and Karl Gasleben (born Ingemar Ljungström).

Dan and Karl met in Gothenburg during the early 1970s when they played in groups Älgarnas Trädgård and Anna Själv Tredje. The duo was formed in 1978 as Cosmic Overdose.

After changing their name to their current title in 1981, Twice a Man released their first album, Music for Girls, in 1982. The group have consistently used synthesizers and electronic effects to create their theatrical and atmospheric soundscapes, and from 1984 they began to work with samplers.

Combichrist (US)

"Combichrist" is an aggrotech group, formed in Norway and currently based in the United States.

In 2003 Andy LaPlegua of "Icon of Coil" wrote a few power noise/techno cross over tracks under the name of "D.R.I.V.E.". This was changed to "Combichrist" when the debut album, "The Joy of Gunz" was set to be released on Out Of Line. The name Combichrist originates from a hardcore fanzine LaPlegua made during the late 90s, with "JR Ewing" guitarist Håkon Mella.

The follow up EPs, and the clamour for live shows, sent Combichrist out on the road where they would become known for their strong and energetic performances.

Their second EP, "Sex, Drogen und Industrial", spent 7 weeks at number one in the DAC charts.<...

Thermostatic are a Swedish electronic band, formed in Gothenburg in 2003. Their music can be said to fall within the genre categories of bitpop and synthpop, with the band inspired by the "video games and computer era of the eighties." The band was voted "Best Scandinavian Newcomer" and "Best Scandinavian Album" at the 2005 Scandinavian Alternative Music Awards.

In April, 2010, they announced they were disbanding, and will perform their last gig on 1 May.

The band have now been reformed as of October 2013, and are working on their new album 'Animal'.

William Control (US)

William Control is an electronic music project based in Seattle, WA and formed as a side project by Aiden's William Francis in 2008. He was signed to Victory and released two albums, Hate Culture and Noir, and an EP, Novus Ordo Seclorum, through the label. He released his third album, Silentium Amoris, through his own Control Records on April 2, 2012. William has also written a book of poems, essays, and prose, titled Prose & Poems, which he released on his official web-store.
