Göran Söllscher

Göran Söllscher was born in 1955 in Växjö (Sweden). He grew up in Kalmar on the east coast of Sweden and started to play the guitar at the age of seven. After his musical education, including studies at the Malmö Conservatory (1975-77) and at the Royal Conservatory of Copenhagen (1976-79), Göran Söllscher embarked on an international career after winning the first prize at the “Concours International de Guitare" in Paris, in 1978. Since then he has performed regularly with all the major Scandinavian orchestras, made regular concert tours of Japan and China and played with the Camerata Bern, the Japan Philharmonic, the English Chamber, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, under such conductors as Claudio A...

Nils Landgren

With his smoking, hard-hitting "Funk Unit", the man with the Red Horn has been responsible for a bunch of successful CDs over the past years. His concerts from Stockholm to Beijing have been met with ecstatic acclamation. In duo with pianist Esbjörn Svensson, he has elevated Swedish folk music to the level of subdued works of art. As the artistic director of the 2001 Berlin Jazz Festival, designed a state of the art presentation of Scandinavian trends and moods. In May 2002 Nils was honored with the "Tore Ehrling prize" by the Swedish Society Of Popular Composers for "His outstanding contribution to spread swedish jazz music around the globe".

Jan Lundgren

Jan Lundgren, born in Kristianstad in southern Sweden on March 22nd 1966, and raised in Ronneby, Blekinge, had his first piano lessons at age five. He was soon discovered to have an exceptional musical talent. After a long period of classical training, he discovered jazz more or less by chance in the late 1980’s. He was instantly hooked, rapidly absorbed the jazz piano tradition from Oscar Peterson, Erroll Garner to Bud Powell and Bill Evans, and acquired a depth of knowledge of the Great American Songbook like possibly no other European jazz pianist.

Miriam Aïda

Miriam Aïda, born 24 september 1974, is an Swedish jazz singer, and a resident of Malmö.

She and Saxophonist Fredrik Kronkvist are a couple, both private and musically. They are established in the Swedish jazz scene. Between tours and recordings she runs a jazz club named Monk in her hometown of Malmö, Sweden.

She is one of Swedens most popular jazz singers with an internationell career and has lately been performing at the Blue Note in Tokyo, London, Paris, Istanbul, Moscow, Helsinki, Oslo, Palermo, Berlin and of course all around Sweden.
