Turbonegro (NO)

Turbonegro (known as Turboneger in Norway) is a Norwegian punk rock band from Oslo, formed in 1989. The band describes themselves as "death punk." The band started with Thomas Seltzer (the bassist, Happy-Tom as he is also called) setting up a band with some friends, called Akutt Innleggelse. They played some local concerts, and made an EP, including 3 songs, "CIA/KGB", "Supertstjerne" and "Lovesong", written by Thomas. The EP was named "Echoes From the Asylum". The cover art is a drawing of a skeleton, which Thomas found in his mothers book about the Scottish psychologist R.D Laing. The publisher was Straitjacket Records, also made by Thomas.

The Picturebooks (DE)

The Picturebooks is a band from Gütersloh, North Rhine-Westphalia Germany, consisting of the three young musicians Fynn (Vocals/Guitar), Phillip "Maddin" (Drums) and Tim (Bass). The band shared stages with bands like Millencolin, 65daysofstatic and The International Noise Conspirancy and a lot of music critics say that it's very hard to decide which style of music The Picturebooks are playing. That's why a lot of people think that The Picturebooks could be the beginning of a new style for a new generation.

Totalt Jävla Mörker

Totalt Jävla Mörker is a political Swedish crust/hardcore punk band, formed in Skellefteå, Sweden in 1996. Their name could be translated to "Total Fucking Darkness".The hardcore punk band Bitter End, also from this town, had just broken up and some of the members (Anders, Fredrik and Tompa) decided to keep playing together. They were not especially good musicians or even interested in music, but it was rather the social conditions that kept them playing together.
