Or the fact that her first forays into production steam rollered her into the spotlight. The house and techno starlet strode into our lives in 2011 with Love IN Me, a summer anthem that filled her diary for the year almost overnight. Joel Mull

Joel Mull was born Aquarius in Stockholm in 1975.

Receiving his first synthesizer at the age of six, Joel has begun his long and successful music career by taking piano lessons soon after. From the age of ten to sixteen, Joel attended Music School in Stockholm, using most of his time playing keyboards and singing in numerous capacities. Joel got into electronic music via Kraftwerk and Depeche Mode. As it is the case with many of the today’s dance music luminaries, his early musical explorations gave him a solid base upon which he would continue building.

Gavin Herlihy (ES)

Here's the basics: Im Irish but I live in London. I'm a writer, a DJ and a burgeoning maker of techno. Ive been working for Mixmag for nearly seven years (club listings ed, news ed, music ed and now features/Big Tunes ed). My first track Machine Ate My Homework was released on Mood Music in 2006 and was supported by a wide range of people including Laurent Garnier, Luciano, DJ Hell, Tiefschwarz, MYLO, Ewan Peason, Paul Oakenfold, Danny Howells and James Lavelle. The follow up 'So That's What Happens' was released Moodmusic in December and is a collaboration with fellow Mixmag scribe Craig Torrance.
