Hypnotic, psychedelic and heavy jazz from the Swedish musicians Mats Gustafsson (The Thing) on saxophones and Fender Rhodes; Johan Berthling (Tape) on bass, electric guitar and Hammond organ; and Andreas Werliin (Wildbirds & Peacedrums) on drums. The trio also team up with a host of other Scandinavian jazz musicians under the name Fire! Orchestra.

Stephen O'Malley (sometimes referred to as SOMA) is a producer & musician, predominantly a guitarist, from Seattle, Washington who has conceptualized and participated in numerous drone doom, death/doom, and experimental bands since 1993.

O'Malley is a founding member of several groups including Sunn O))), Burning Witch, KTL, Khanate and others. He has worked with a variety of artists including Greg Anderson, Merzbow, James Plotkin, Julian Cope, Joe Preston, Attila Csihar, Peter Rehberg aka PITA, Lee Dorrian, Kristoffer Rygg, Aaron Turner, Oren Ambarchi, Alexander Tucker, and percussionist Z'EV.

Munnen

Munnen is a rare example of a band capable of wearing their fine influences in such style without seeming as if they are ripping them off. They are based in Sweden and their sound could be described as a distorted echo of dissonant post-punk à la late 1970's, with dented rhythms and peculiar lyrics in Swedish.
