Artillery is a Danish thrash metal band. They participated in the early development of the genre, and their highly energetic, riff-centric and often fast-paced music is similar in style to that of Slayer and Megadeth from the same era.
The band formed in 1982 in Taastrup, a suburban town near Copenhagen. The members were guitarists Jørgen Sandau and Michael Stützer, bassist Morten Stützer, drummer Carsten Nielsen and singer Carsten Lohmann. The group recorded the demos Shellshock and Deeds of Darkness in 1984.
Artillery's first commercial debut came in early 1985 with the inclusion of the song "Hey Woman," on Volume One of the "Speed Metal Hell" compilation series which was released on New Renaissance Records. Later...

1) A French trio
2) A Swedish punk
1) A French trio: Fred Berthet, Arnaud Taillefer & DJ Oil. They met, in 1998, at la Friche Belle (Marseille, France). Their appreciation for '60s / '70s jazz, funk & film scores - plus dance elements - produced a distinctive eclectic sound.
Two years in studio produced a début album - Doubts & Convictions (2001 on Guidance Recordings). Then, Fred departed, leaving a duo. Next they produced a 52 min' film soundtrack - Express Way (filmed in Marseille, OST on Blue Note).

There are three bands with the name Root.
1) Root is a Czech metal legend from city of Brno founded in 1987 by Big Boss and Blackie. Root was one of the original pre-second-wave black metal bands, following in the footsteps of Bathory and Venom, while taking the genre in a more refined, less savage direction. Their style has since progressed towards a more epic, dark heavy metal sound with a clean-sung vocal approach, but their music can still be recognized as black metal at its core due to the unchanged ideology of the band. After the album Madness of the Graves (2003), Blackie left Root to concentrate on his band Cales. Blackie also played in side-project Entrails, an old school black-thrash metal band.
The Scams are a Swedish rock and roll band
Danny, Chuck n' Kriss grew up in different but similar smalltowns were R'n'R is king and the destillerymachines are coocking 24-7. It´s easy to say that R'n'R has been corrupting their ungodly souls ever since tasting their first beer sometime around 4th grade.
2001 Danny n' Chuck formed The Scams inspired by the movie "Oh brother where art thou". The Scams has delivered pure R'n'R with influences from Rockabilly, 50s rock and 70s punk since their first gig in 2002.
It´s been Noize, Booze n' Tattooz all the way for these guys. They have become the band who smacks you in the face with dazzlin' guitars, makes your heart bleed with howlin' tunes and your body shake with t...
