Justin Townes Earle (US)

Justin Townes Earle, born January 4, 1982 in Nashville, TN, is an American alt-country singer-songwriter who walks the line between old-time country and modern acoustic Indie music by breathing new life into early country, blues and gospel forms.

His first release, Yuma, in 2007 was a stark and beautiful set of songs written while Earle was fresh out of rehab and is now re-released by Bloodshot Records, who have a further three albums on their catalogue.

The Good Life, Midnight At the Movies (Americana award nominee) and the latest Harlem River Blues show Earle's characteristic charm, wit and rhythm to the forefront.

The Handsome Family (US)

The Handsome Family is an alternative country and americana band, formed in Chicago, Illinois, and currently based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The band was formed in 1993 by husband-and-wife duo Brett Sparks (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Rennie Sparks (bass, banjo, vocals), along with drummer Mike Werner. The band would later revolve around Rennie, who writes the lyrics, and Brett, who writes the music. Guest musicians complete the band line-up for recordings and live work.

Baskery is Greta, Stella and Sunniva Bondesson, three sisters from Stockholm, Sweden.

This three part orchestra creates their sound on distorted slide banjo, slap-driven upright bass and acoustic guitar.

Baskerys debut album "Fall Among Thieves", released in may 2008, was recorded live on stage at Decibel Studios together with their engineer/producer,
Lasse Mårtén (Sahara Hotnights, Pink, Lykke Li, Peter Bjorn and John etc).

Baskery's members have earlier toured Sweden, Europe and the US, with their former band Slaptones (EMI/Capitol) featuring drummer & dad Jan-Åke Bondesson.

The Temperance Movement (UK)

The Temperance Movement are a British blues rock band formed in 2011 by Glasgow-born vocalist Phil Campbell and guitarists Luke Potashnick (ex-Rooster and Ben's Brother) and Paul Sayer. The rhythm section consists of former Jamiroquai bassist Nick Fyffe and the Australian-born drummer Damon Wilson, who has played with the likes of Ray Davies, The Waterboys and Feeder. The band released their "Pride EP" in 2012, and their eponymous debut studio album was released on 16 September 2013.
