Paradise Lost (UK)

Paradise Lost (formed in 1988 in Halifax, UK) began as one of the premier bands of the death doom metal genre (along with their former Peaceville labelmates Anathema and My Dying Bride) and pioneered the sound of early gothic metal. In the late 1990s they evolved to a more mainstream synth rock style, only to come full-circle back to their doom metal and gothic metal roots on recent releases.

Ironically, the band is almost unknown in their home country, whereas in mainland Europe they have been extremely popular for many years, especially in Greece, Germany and Bulgaria, where they are regarded as mainstream rock stars. Hatebreed (US)

Hatebreed is a metalcore, thrash/groove metal band from Bridgeport and New Haven, Connecticut. The band was founded in November 1994 by Jamey Jasta, Dave Russo, Larry Dwyer, and Chris Beattie. Hatebreed's sound can be classified as metalcore. They are also influenced by groove metal. thrash, sludge and death metal. Their sound has heavily influenced many modern metalcore, hardcore punk and crossover bands.

Municipal Waste (US)

Municipal Waste is a thrash metal/crossover band from Richmond, Virginia formed in 2001. They are known for their loud, drunken, party atmosphere and rowdy show attendees, and also for their humorous thrash oriented parody song titles. Occasionally, they have been known to play unscheduled shows late at night. Municipal Waste are a crucial element of Richmond culture, and have four albums under their bullet belts, including 2012's The Fatal Feast. Playing at This Is For You Fest '05 in Daytona Beach and at Super Sabado Gigante Fest 2 in January 2006 CA, they continued to gain national acclaim in the metal scene. Danko Jones (CA)

Danko Jones is a Canadian rock band from Toronto, Canada. The band consists of Danko Jones (vocals/guitar), John 'JC' Calabrese (bass guitar) and Atom Willard (drums).

Formed in 1996, they played consistently for two years in and around the north-eastern United States and Canada, opening for The New Bomb Turks, Nashville Pussy, Blonde Redhead, The Make-Up, The Dirtbombs, The Chrome Cranks and The Demolition Doll Rods.
