Ellen Arkbro is a composer and sound-artist from Stockholm. By way of tuning, Ellen’s work slides into existence in the form of compositions for early music ensembles and long duration performances of synthesised dream music. Her work has been described as an oscillation between the pop music of the ’90s and the American minimalism of the ’60s. Ellen’s sound work is heavily informed by her studies in Just Intonation with La Monte Young and Marian Zazeela in New York and Marc Sabat in Berlin. Leif Elggren (born 1950, Linköping, Sweden), is a Swedish artist who lives and works in Stockholm.
Active since the late 1970s, Leif Elggren has become one of the most constantly surprising conceptual artists to work in the combined worlds of audio and visual. A writer, visual artist, stage performer and composer, he has many albums to his credits, solo and with the Sons of God, on labels such as Ash International, Touch, Radium and his own Firework Edition. Born in 1953, Lars Åkerlund studied composition at New Music and developed electronic music at Stockholm's EMS (Electronic Music Studio). In the late 80s he formed the proto-Techno trio Lucky People Centre and has spent much of the past two decades writing music for high profile choreographic and film projects in Sweden.
