Saxon (UK)

Saxon is a British heavy metal band, formed in Barnsley, England in 1976.

As pioneers of, and at the forefront of the then New Wave of British Heavy Metal the band enjoyed a period of prominence in the UK (including popular chart success) and Europe in the early 1980s, and later the USA and Japan.

Saxon started in South Yorkshire, England as SOB during 1976 with founder members Graham Oliver and Steve Dawson. This band joined forces with another local band, Coast, featuring Biff Byford on vocals and Paul Quinn on guitar. Doro (DE)

Doro Pesch (real name: Dorothea Pesch, born 3 June 1964, Düsseldorf) is a female vocalist, formerly of the German heavy metal band Warlock and one of the few female singers of the 1980s heavy metal scene.

After Warlock underwent many personnel changes, Pesch was the only remaining original member of the band. After changing her record label, she released in 1989 the fifth album as Doro, as the former label owned the trademark on the Warlock name.

Persuader is a Swedish power/heavy metal band that was formed in 1997. A good description of their music would be a mixture of Blind Guardian and Iced Earth with somewhat thrashy/raw vocals. They have released three full length albums: The Hunter, Evolution Purgatory and When Eden Burns.

Tad Morose

Tad Morose is a Swedish heavy metal / power metal band formed in 1991 and led by guitarist Christer 'Krunt' Andersson. Their full-length debut was Leaving the Past Behind (1993), a minor hit that established the band within the continental Europe-heavy metal community. Sender of Thoughts (1994) was even more popular within the metal community. Their latest and most successful album to date is 2003's Modus Vivendi. Though the group has never caught on in America, they have a larger and growing European base.
