Hiatus Kaiyote are a 4-piece independent future soul group based in Melbourne, performing on occasion with 3 additional backing singers.

Their sound is a fusion of future beats, hip-hop and soul with subtler influences of Latin, dubstep and opera.

Since forming in mid 2011, Hiatus Kaiyote have already shared the bill with such acts as Stones Throw Record’s Taylor McFerrin, Warp legends Chris Clark and Harmonic 313 and sound genius Robin Fox, Brainfeeder’s Lapalux and oOoOO as well as playing bills at Woodford Folk Festival, Melbourne International Jazz Festival and headlined at stage at the final The Bohemian Masquerade Ball.

ODDJOB was born in 2005 through a love of funk. Since then, their sound has evolved to incorporate a diverse range of influences. Rare groove, afrobeat, jazz, latin & caribbean carnival rhythms and a hint of flamenco have all been thrown into the mix. Goran Kajfeš - trumpet

Born in Stockholm, Sweden, Kajfeš’ parents are Croatian. Goran started playing trumpet at the age of 10, first concentrating on classical music but later deciding to focus on jazz. He studied from 1993-95 at the Rhythmic Music Conservatory in Copenhagen.Läs mer

Isabella Lundgren

The critically acclaimed jazz singer Isabella Lundgren, with her strong vocals deeply rooted in the early american jazz, blues and gospel tradition, released her debut album "It had to be you" in 2012. She moved to the U.S at the age of 18 to study jazz at the new school university in New York city.
She has collaborated with a wide range of musicians and artist in both classical jazz and commercial pop, from Gavin Degraw and Moby to Eddy Davis, Fabrizio Sotti, Peter Asplund, Dan Barrett, Mino Cineuelo and many others. Since she released her first album has won several scholarships and awards and made a name for herself on the Swedish jazz scene.

Chris Potter (US)

Chris Potter (born January 1, 1971) is an American jazz saxophonist, composer, and multi-instrumentalist.

Potter has released a number of albums as leader and has performed and recorded with many leading musicians including Kenny Werner, Red Rodney, Marian McPartland, the Mingus Big Band, Paul Motian, Ray Brown, Jim Hall, James Moody, Dave Douglas, Joe Lovano, Mike Mainieri, Steve Swallow, Steely Dan, Dave Holland, Joanne Brackeen, and many more.
