Alcest (FR)

Alcest is a post-black metal band formed in Bagnols Sur Cèze, Languedoc-Roussillon, France in 2000.
Formed by French multi-instrumentalist Neige (who has also worked with Amesoeurs, Mortifera, Lantlôs, Peste Noire, and more).

Alcest was originally conceived as a solo project, though it would eventually take on the form of a full band as Aegnor (also of Peste Noire) and Argoth joined the fray and released a four-track demo entitled Tristesse Hivernale in 2001. This demo was a more straightforward heavy/black metal affair, much different from what would happen next. pg.lost is a four-piece post-rock band from Norrköping, Sweden formed in year 2004. The band was initially called Before You Give In but after numerous changes in the lineup the band took on the current name.

They released a 2005 self-titled demo EP followed by an EP entitled Yes I Am in 2007, their first full-length release called It's Not Me, It's You! in 2008, and In Never Out arrived in year 2009, new album Key in 2012.
