Maria Faust (DK)

Maria Faust is a saxophone player and composer, coming from the island of Saaremaa, Estonia. In 2002 she cut short her studies as a classical conductor at the Academy of Music in Tallinn to study jazz at the conservatory of music in Esbjerg, Denmark.

The music of Maria Faust is a mixture of many different styles drawing on the legacy of her Estonian roots, rock and jazz with emphasis on the band’s four horns. Her compositions have a clear structure and their complexity does not obstruct the underlying romanticism of the music. Torbjörn Zetterberg

Torbjörn Zetterberg is a swedish bassplayer and jazzmusician from Sweden. He is prominent in scandinavian jazz, and has co-operated with many jazzgroups and artists such as Jonas Kullhammar Quartet and Hilde Marie Kjersem.
Torbjörn Zetterberg has fairly widespread recognition in Europe, but is relatively unknown in North America.

Zetterberg has also his own jazzgroup "Torbjörn Zetterberg Hot Five". He released 5 records with his Quintet, his first release with his Octet is the album "Torbjörn Zetterberg skildrar kvinnans kamp", in 2007.
He has also done other musical projects, such as his singer-songwrighter alias "Folke".
