Mörk Gryning was a melodic black metal/progressive black metal band from Stockholm, Sweden, formed in 1993 and dissolved in 2005.

Sweden's Mörk Gryning, meaning "dark dawn", was formed in the early 90's by the multi-talented duo of Goth (guitars, bass, keyboards, backing vocals) and Draakh Kimera (vocals, guitars, keyboards, drums), who recorded their complex black metal on 1995's Tusen år har gått... and 1997's Return Fire. In 2001 they released their third full-length, Maelstrom Chaos. Continuing with the aid of guitarist Avatar, bassist Fredrik Boëthius, and drummer Carl-Gustaf Bäckström, the album's grand sonic vision did not disappoint the fans. Swedish melodic death metal band formed in 1991. They released their first demo The Time Of Autumn in 1993. They subsequently recorded their first EP As Tears in Unisound studios in November 1994 which was released by Chaos records in 1995. They then signed to No Fashion records and recorded their debut full length album in Abyss studios Silence Of The World Beyond, released in 1996. Their second album The Only Pure Hate was recorded at Sunlight studios in 1997 and released in 1998. Netherbird

NETHERBIRD sprung into existence during November 2004 in Stockholm, Sweden as Nephente (vocals), Bizmark (guitars, keyboard) and Grim (guitars) found they were sharing a vision on how to write and record metal music without the limitations of a set line up or metal. The clear intent to create music without to much concern of genres or instrumentation has resulted in the band having a rather broad range of obvious influences spanning from black metal to to doom and heavy metal. The roots and deeper influences can always be found in the Scandinavian metal legacy.

The debut EP in 2006 carved an emotive and complex trail into the Electro-Industrial genre by combining pulsing electronics overlaid with vast, sweeping soundscapes. 2008 brought the release of a remix EP and single which highlighted elements of Glitch and marked the beginning of a new era for the band.
