Trivium is a heavy metal band which formed in Orlando, Florida, United States in 2000. The band currently consists of Matt Heafy (vocals, guitar), Corey Beaulieu (guitar), Paolo Gregoletto (bass) and Mat Madiro (drums). Heafy is the band's only remaining original member. Since their formation, the band has released six studio albums.
Trivium cross multiple heavy metal genres such as metalcore, thrash metal, progressive metal, alternative metal, groove metal, and death metal. Their style has evolved over the years from their earliest work on Ember to Inferno right through to In Waves. SikTh is a six member progressive/technical metal band, originating from Watford, England. They formed in March 2001, with their music being under the scope of many music magazines such as Kerrang! and Metal Hammer and a favourite of BBC Radio 1 DJ Mary Anne Hobbs. The band were signed to independent record label Bieler Bros. Records at the time of their disbandment.
SikTh's style of music is hard to categorize and as they incorporate many different elements of technical metal, metalcore, death metal, groove metal, rock and hardcore. They are commonly categorized as progressive metal due to their unorthodox approach, as well as technical metal and mathcore due to the complex nature of their instrumental playing abilities.
SHVPES are fast becoming one of the most hotly talked-about young metal acts in the UK. Hailing from Birmingham, the five-piece have witnessed the rise and rise of the SHVPES name since the release of the debut EP, The Prosecutor.
Despite the fact that the band are yet to release their debut full- length, SHVPES are already live veterans, having supported the likes of Finch and Fightstar at the prestigious Brixton Academy, as well as their rock peers Bring Me The Horizon, Bullet For My Valentine, Young Guns, Memphis May Fire, 36 Crazyfists and Crossfaith. The band are no strangers to the festival stage either, having played the likes of Download Festival, Slam Dunk, Takedown, Radstock and Hit The Deck.
