Backyard Babies

Backyard Babies is a Swedish Rock'n Roll band, formed in the city of Nässjö in 1987, originally comprising singer Tobbe, guitarist Dregen, bassist Johan Blomquist and drummer Peder Carlsson. After recording a rough demo and playing a few local live dates, in 1989 the group dismissed Tobbe and replaced him with singer Nicke Borg; two more demos followed, as did a national tour, and in 1991 the Backyard Babies launched their first official release, the EP Something to Swallow. Signing with the Swedish Megarock label in 1993, the following year the quartet issued their first full-length effort, Diesel & Power, before going on hiatus to allow Dregen the chance to work with his other band, the Hellacopters. Takida

Takida, a five piece rock band from Ånge, Sweden, started out in 1999 and they have worked hard to get where they are today. They have been touring all around Sweden and built quite a reputation as a solid live rockband. Their fanbase is growing as we speak. Their first demo old was only produced in 500 copies and sold out immediately, old was recorded in year 2000. It was followed up by the EP T2 (2000), the full length album tAKiDA (2001), the ep Gohei (2003) and the ep Thorns (2004). These 4 EP's and one album has sold over astonishing 10,000 copies together, much thanks to many successful gigs that lead to an increased popularity.

Dan Reed Network (US)

Dan Reed Network are a modestly successful funk-rock band from Portland, Oregon.
Consisting of singer and guitarist Dan Reed, guitarist Brion James, bassist Melvin Brannon II, drummer Dan Pred and keyboardist Rick DiGuiarllonado, the Dan Reed Network started off in 1984, and released three studio albums (Dan Reed Network, Slam and Heat) before their unofficial breakup in 1993. According to Songfacts, they drew comparisons to Lenny Kravitz and Living Colour, got great reviews, and opened for The Rolling Stones and Bon Jovi. They sold nearly 2 million albums before calling it quits.
