Anita Tijoux (CL)

Anita Tijoux, now known as Ana Tijoux, was born as Anamaría Merino Tijoux in 1977 in Lille, France. She later moved to Chile in her adolescence while the country was experiencing political changes.

Her first three albums were done with Makiza starting in 1997. Since then, she split with them and has done more tracks and scene with Los Tres, Inti Illimani, Julieta Venegas, Fda, Jotadro, Santo Barrio, Los Tetas, Funk como le gusta, Tsunamis, Luciano Supervielle, Dj Bitman, Control Machete, Sayag Jazz Machine... among others.
