The home-grown production line has been in overdrive of late in the rock world, and High Wycombe-based quintet, Young Guns, are proof that it’s showing no signs of fatigue.
Their four track debut EP, ‘Mirrors’, has been produced by former SikTh members Dan Weller and Justin Hill (Enter Shikari, Haunts, Gallows), and covers a host of subjects, from party-induced-excess and temptation, to adolescent aspirations and dependency, and all this in little more than 16 minutes. However, it’s a brief blast of promise that should more than whet the appetite for what’s to come from the five-piece and serves as a ringing statement of intent.
A 12-track debut album 'All Our Kings Are Dead' was released on the 21st of July 2010, ...
• Andreas Olsson - guitar, lead vocals
• Erik Eklund - drummer
• Gabriel Rauhofer - guitar, backup vocals
• Patrik Hallgren - bass, backup vocals

There are several bands named Vera Cruz
1. Germans VERA CRUZ debuted in 1989 with "Hot Games" released through a small indie label, pressed on CD but in limited quantities. Much sought after by collectors, original copies were sold at eBay for $400!
Despite of being released in '89, the style in "Hot Games" is mid-eighties Melodic Rock / AOR with the typical German + Scandinavian sound; lots of keyboards & synths, melodic guitars and hooky choruses.
Actually, Vera Cruz sounds here quite Swedish, like early Skagarak (not so tight), early Treat, Quolio, Maeday and alikes.
All tracks are catchy with good musicianship, and although production isn't stellar, if you dig '80s Scandi-AOR you'll love it.
The band have reinvented their sound with gigantic guitars and heart wrenching melodies. Their solid song writing ability is truly captivating, reaching new listeners and gripping fans from across the country. Songs switch and shift from hard rock anthems to bellowing ballads and display variance allowing the band to appeal to the masses. London based, these boys are ready to explode into the mainstream.
The Band is:

Plan Three is a post-grunge band formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 1999 by singer Jacob Lovén, guitarists Tommie Hammar and Mathias Garneij, drummer Andreas Malm and bassist Mattias Willis. After some years, the bands long-time producer and songwriter David Clewett was recruited to the band's official personnel as synth player and background vocalist.
They are influenced by the American alternative rock/post-grunge scene as well as electronic and classical music, the combination of which gives the band their unique sound.
In mid-2006, Mattias left the band after they had decided to alter their sound from pop inspired 90's rock to a harder type of rock. Bandit Rock radio host Peter Kjellin replaced Mattias as bassist.
