The Hives

The Hives are a garage rock band from Fagersta, Sweden that emerged in the US and the UK in the early 2000s, but existed for nearly a decade before that, playing punk rock.

The band claims that their songs are written by an honorary "sixth Hive", Randy Fitzsimmons. Raised Fist

Raised Fist is a Swedish hardcore band formed in 1993, Luleå, Sweden. The name "Raised Fist" came as an idea from the Rage Against the Machine song "Know Your Enemy", where part of the lyrics are as follows: "Born with an insight and a raised fist..."

With influences rooted firmly among bands as Gorilla Biscuits,Youth Of Today and Wide Awake the band started out as firm believers in the old school style. Entombed is a death metal band from Stockholm, Sweden which formed in 1987 under the name of Nihilist. In 1989 they changed their name to Entombed. Though Entombed began their career as an early pioneer of Scandinavian death metal, by the early 1990s their sound had broadened to include hard rock and other influences. This new style would eventually be described as Death 'n' Roll, of which Entombed remains arguably the best-known example.

Crashdïet originally formed in Stockholm, Sweden in 2000. Rifts and troubles in the band caused a breakup not long after.

In 2002, half of the band took on new members and the band was reformed.

They slowly built up a fan base with their shows. In 2004 they released their first single. This was followed by more singles, and being featured in TV commercials for mobile phone service provider "Tre".

In August of 2005 released their debut full-length album "Rest In Sleaze". The album made the top 10 in Sweden.
