Rancid (US)

Rancid is a punk rock band which formed in Berkeley, California, United States in 1991. The band consists of Tim "Lint" Armstrong (vocals, guitar), Lars Frederiksen (guitar), Matt Freeman (bass) and Branden Steineckert (drums). The band has released seven albums: "Rancid" (1993), "Let's Go" (1994), "...And Out Come the Wolves" (1995), "Life Won't Wait" (1998), "Rancid" (2000), "Indestructible" (2003) and "Let the Dominoes Fall" (2009). The band originally consisted of Armstrong, Freeman (both former members of Operation Ivy) and drummer Brett Reed, with Frederiksen joining in 1993. Reed left in 2006 and was replaced by Stieneckert.

Against Me! (US)

Against Me! is a punk rock band which formed in Gainesville, Florida in 1997. The band has had several lineup changes, with Laura Jane Grace (vocals, guitar) and James Bowman (guitar) being relative constant members. The band is currently comprised of Grace, Bowman, Inge Johansson (bass) and Atom Willard (drums).

The band has released seven albums since their formation: "Against Me! Is Reinventing Axl Rose" (2001), "Against Me! Turbonegro (NO)

Turbonegro (known as Turboneger in Norway) is a Norwegian punk rock band from Oslo, formed in 1989. The band describes themselves as "death punk." The band started with Thomas Seltzer (the bassist, Happy-Tom as he is also called) setting up a band with some friends, called Akutt Innleggelse. They played some local concerts, and made an EP, including 3 songs, "CIA/KGB", "Supertstjerne" and "Lovesong", written by Thomas. The EP was named "Echoes From the Asylum". The cover art is a drawing of a skeleton, which Thomas found in his mothers book about the Scottish psychologist R.D Laing. The publisher was Straitjacket Records, also made by Thomas.

Gallows (UK)

Gallows are a hardcore punk band from Watford Hertfordshire, England, formed in 2005. They consist of Stuart Gili-Ross (bass), Laurent 'Lags' Barnard (guitar), Lee Barratt (drums), and Wade MacNeil (vocals). They were signed to Warner Bros.

Gallows released their debut album, Orchestra of Wolves, in 2006. It was distributed in the United States by independent label Epitaph in 2007. Epitaph founder and Bad Religion guitarist Brett Gurewitz called it the best hardcore album since Refused's The Shape of Punk to Come. In January 2008, the band's show at the House of Blues in Anaheim, California was canceled after Disney chose to ban them from performing—reportedly after listening to Orchestra of Wolves.
