Veronica Maggio

Veronica Sandra Karin Maggio, born March 15, 1981 in Uppsala, Sweden, is a Swedish singer of Swedish and Italian origin. She won the category "Årets nykomling" (Newcomer of the Year) at Grammisgalan 2007. In March 2006, Maggio released her debut single " Dumpa mig " (Dump Me); the video for the single soon became the hit of the week on TV stations like ZTV. Her other single after " Dumpa mig " was the song " Nöjd? " (Satisfied?). She signed a contract with Universal Music and went on a tour in Summer 2006.

Jonathan Johansson

Just a few years ago, the term Swedish pop was more or less synonymous with the 1960s: chipper hooks, throwback arrangements, turtlenecks, and soft-focus album covers. But in a very short time, the country's indie output-- at least as perceived from these shores-- seems to have advanced two decades, with acts like the Legends and Pacific! finding inspiration in the sounds of the early 1980s. In this regard, Jonathan Johansson is a new romantic, but not necessarily a New Romantic.

Fibes, Oh Fibes!

Fibes, Oh Fibes! is a Swedish pop/soul-band hailing from Gothenburg, Sweden. The band consists of three members; Christian Olsson, Edvin Edvinsson and Mathias Nilsson.
They made their breakthrough on the Swedish charts with singels " One Hour Baby " and " This City's Got No Boulevards ". They play piano-heavy pop with influences by american westcoast rock, adult oriented rock, the slick production of disco-era fleetwood mac and blue eyed soul.
