Oneohtrix Point Never (US)

Oneohtrix Point Never is the recording name of composer/producer Daniel Lopatin. He is known for creating intricate electronic music that is characterized by its emphasis on melody and hypnotic pacing, conceptually stylized structures and extreme use of audio processing techniques. Early incarnations of OPN date back to the mid 2000s and drew heavily on the stylistic forms of cutout bin ambient and new age records, combined with the structure and abrasiveness of noise music. A series of home-recorded cassette and CDR releases interspersed with a number of full-length albums surfaced around 2007, and by 2009, these were compiled on the 5-LP box set ‘Rifts’ which brought him international acclaim. Jacaszek (PL)

Jacaszek (read: ya-tsa-sheck) (Michał Jacaszek), author and producer of electroacoustic music, combining electronically prepared sounds with acoustic instruments, born in 1972 in Gdańsk, Poland.

Started his music adventure from illustrating poetry. In 1999 he released CDR with Waldemar Ślefarski's poems "Wiersze Zmieszane" and young Polish poets' works "Rocznik Dźwiękowy" .

In 2001 he recorded an album with songs of Miłka Malzahn, "Mapa". It was called a "trip hop sung poetry ". The album was released at 2003 (Offmusic Rec).

In 2003 a "Lem Konzept" project came to daylight. It has a form of broadcast play, but performed live with an actor reading texts of Stanisłam Lem and Jacaszek playing his music.

Ikonika (UK)

Ikonika (real name Sara Abdel-Hamid) is a UK-based electronic musician, producer and DJ often associated with Hyperdub Records and the Dubstep genre.

Her debut 12", "Please/Simulacrum" was released in 2008 on Hyperdub Records. She has released music on Planet Mu, as well as a remix of DJ Mujava’s "Township Funk", released by Warp Records. Ikonika’s music combines melodic synth patterns, driving drums, melancholic sub bass and unorthodox song structures. She was described by The Observer as "a rare female face in the male-dominated world of dubstep, Ikonika melds the genre's juddering bass with Aphex Twin-style melodic mischief-making."

Gudrun Gut (DE)

Gudrun Gut is an electronic artist from Germany. She was an early member of experimental act Einstürzende Neubauten and a founding member of Mania D, Malaria! and Matador. She is the head of labels Monika Enterprise and Moabit Musik. She co-presents the Oceanclub weekly radio program in Berlin with Thomas Fehlmann.
